Parker Gallant is a retired banker in Ontario, and he’s become very interested in how his power bills keep going up. While he has no experience in the power sector, he obviously knows how to read financial statements and what questions to ask. The National Post has published a series of articles where Gallant relates what he has found, and what he has found is just a mess.
How does this affect my main topic of wind turbines? It doesn’t directly, but wind turbines seem attractive only to those people who don’t know much about them, or have a financial interest in them. This lack of competence, combined with carelessness, mixed in with avarice, is the same cocktail that Gallant exposes in his series. While this series is particular to Ontario the same symptoms are appearing throughout the U.S., as they appeared earlier throughout Europe.
